Passion…

There is no passion to be found playing small…in settling for a life that is less than the one you are capable of living.” ~Nelson Mandela~

Did you know that Walt Disney mortgaged everything he owned, including his own personal insurance, to fund the $17 million construction of Disneyland? Or that Oprah, as a child was sexually assaulted at the age of nine. Or that Stan O’Neal, the former CEO of Merrill Lynch, was born into deplorable poverty and picked cotton as a young boy to help his family survive.

So what do these and other Winners have in common…

First they all faced enormous obstacles…Second they all failed multiple times…and Third no matter how bad it got…they never gave up.

Winner’s eat, breathe, talk, sleep, and live passionate lives. Their work is a part of them, and in some cases it completely defines who they are. Winners strive for perfection because they’re driven by something deeper and more powerful than mere interest or curiosity. They never stop looking for ways to do things better and for where they can do more, where they can go that extra mile…to blow away expectations and people.
